This does not include treasury shares (issued shares held by the company) or shares that may in the future be issued in the event (i) convertible securities (such as convertible preferred stock or convertible debt) are converted, (ii) exchangeable securities are exchanged, or (iii) options, warrants, or other rights to purchase stock are exercised.
