• "B" Round

  A funding or financing round, following the "A" round, in which Series B preferred stock is issued and sold to existing and/or new investors.

  This can be effectuated through a private offering or a public offering. Subsequent preferred stock funding rounds are referred to as "C," "D," and so on.
