The very tactical topic of Risk Taking, as the underpinning of every company, needs to be highlighted. We will discuss the types of risks to be taken, whether and when they should be taken and when they should be avoided, including some example analyses of upside potential versus downside loss. We will also discuss Enterprise Risk Assessment (ERA) and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM).

Philip A. Harding, Chairman of the Board, MFLEX (MFLX)
Serves as the chairman of the board of MFLEX, after being CEO for 20 years. Prior to MFLEX, Phil was CEO of startup Weltec Digital Corp., was President of a Division of Excello Corp., was a point of sale Product Manager for a joint venture between Fujitsu Corp., and TRW, and was a General Manager of the EM&M Corp. Phil received the Orange County Ernst & Young Technology Entrepreneur award for 2006. MFLEX received the Deloitte Fast 50 growth award for 2007, 2008, and 2009.
Dick Dadamo
After leaving the Big Company world at TRW, formed RJD Associates Inc. a consulting firm dedicated to mentoring company presidents and has provided seminars and classes. Dadamo has authored 7 books on Hands-On -Management and serves on the Board of Directors of three companies. He has also been an active angel investor while being a member of the Tech Coast Angels for several years.
